Sweet Sop trees are often called Sugar-apple trees. The tree is native to tropical America, India, and Pakistan. It is a semi-evergreen shrub that can reach a height of 25 feet. Its fruit is round and looks a bit like a green pine cone about 4 inches long. It contains a custardy yellow fruit with a distinctive sweet aroma that tastes like guava.
